Orders
When will my order arrive?
Each print is custom made to order. Unframed prints usually ship within 2–5 business days, and framed works within 5–7 business days. Shipping then adds ~1–2 days within the UK, and ~3–5 days for US/EU. You’ll receive a tracking link once your order is dispatched.
Do you include payment information on the package?
No. Orders are shipped “blind,” without receipts or pricing details inside the box making them ideal for gifts.
My print arrived damaged. What should I do?
If your order is damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@emptygesture.limited. Please include clear photos of the packaging and the artwork so we can arrange a replacement.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes. Express shipping is available to most destinations through DHL. Costs vary by region and will be shown at checkout.
I think my order is lost, what should I do?
If your order shows as delivered but hasn’t arrived, contact us and we’ll help trace it with the courier.
Print Quality & Process
How are the prints made?
Every artwork is giclée printed using archival inks and fine art papers, ensuring exceptional depth, detail, and longevity.
What about sustainability?
All printing and framing is carried out by our UK-based partner who is Europe’s first 100% carbon-neutral fine art printing service. Papers are FSC-certified, packaging is sustainably sourced, and the process is fully carbon offset.
Will the prints last?
Yes. With archival papers and pigment inks, your prints are fade-resistant for decades, provided they are cared for and kept out of direct sunlight.
Artwork
Can I frame these prints myself?
Yes. While we offer framed options, you can also purchase unframed prints if you prefer to use your own framer.
What papers do you print on?
All work is giclée printed on museum-grade archival papers such as Hahnemühle Photo Rag, German Etching, and other fine art stocks. These papers are chosen for their texture, weight, and ability to hold deep, lasting color.
What are your frames made from?
Our frames are solid wood, hand-assembled, and finished with premium UV-protective acrylic glazing. This material is optically clear, lightweight, and safer in transit than glass.
Do you use glass or acrylic?
We use a premium, UV-protective acrylic glazing. It’s optically clear, shatter-resistant, and significantly lighter than glass—perfect for protecting art while ensuring safe delivery.
Are your prints glossy or matte?
We print on matte fine art papers. The finish is non-reflective, enhancing tonal detail without glare.
Are any prints signed or numbered?
Limited editions are hand-signed and numbered, available in small runs. Open editions are unlimited and unsigned, but always produced to the same archival standards.
Returns & Cancellations
What is your return policy?
Because each piece is custom made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. However, if your print arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll replace it at no cost. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
Can I exchange my piece for a different size?
All sales are final. Once your order enters production, we cannot change the size or edition.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Orders may be cancelled or changed within 24 hours of being placed. After that, production begins and adjustments are not possible.

Do you offer a trade program?
Yes. We collaborate with interior designers, architects, and hospitality groups. Reach out at hello@emptygesture.limited to discuss trade pricing.
How do I submit my portfolio?
We welcome artist submissions. Send a PDF with 5–6 sample works and a short statement to hello@emptygesture.limited. Please note we review monthly and, due to volume, cannot reply to every submission.
